Bringing comfort and care to those who need it most during the cold season
When winter arrives, many underprivileged families, elderly people, and children struggle to protect themselves from the cold. Through the Warmth Initiative, Aadya Dadaji Spiritual Foundation reaches out with blankets, warm clothes, and genuine care — turning a simple act of giving into a deeply human expression of seva.
In the vision of Swami Shivanand Dadaji, spirituality is incomplete without compassion in action. While meditation and inner practices purify the individual, seva expands the heart and connects us with the suffering of others.
The Warmth Initiative was born from this understanding. Every winter, the Foundation organizes the distribution of blankets and warm clothing to those living in difficult conditions — roadside dwellers, elderly people without support, daily wage workers, and families in remote areas.
This is not charity in the ordinary sense. It is an offering of dignity, care, and the recognition that every human being deserves basic protection from the harshness of nature.
Blankets and warm clothes are carefully collected, checked, and prepared with love by volunteers and devotees before distribution begins.
Distribution is carried out with dignity and respect — ensuring that those who need it most receive support without any sense of discrimination or hierarchy.
The initiative is not limited to one day. Wherever possible, follow-up support and additional help are extended based on the needs of the community.
“A blanket may seem like a small thing. But for someone shivering in the cold, it becomes a message that they are not forgotten — that someone, somewhere, still cares.”
Through the Warmth Initiative, we try to be that message of care. You are welcome to support this seva with your contribution or participation.
